Crystal Palace Baltimore have announced the signing of forward/midfielder Gary Brooks, a player with more than five years of USL professional experience. The 26 year old is a native of Kingston, Jamaica.
Brooks was a member of the 2006 Vancouver Whitecaps, who were the USL First Division Champions. Prior to that, he played for the USL-1 Atlanta Silverbacks and Virginia Beach Mariners, as well as the MISL California Cougars and Philadelphia Kixx. He was the Mariners’ leading scorer in 2002.
“Gary is a proven goal-scorer and we are excited to add him to our line-up,” said Coach Pete Medd. “The team has done well in creating scoring chances, and we believe Gary will help complete some of those, resulting in more goals and wins.”
The player will get his first chance to suit up for Palace this weekend, as they take on the Western Massachusetts Pioneers at the Navy Marine Corps Stadium in Annapolis on Saturday, July 7 th at 7pm.
