Our American team will be taking on Peter Taylor's side in September.

The Crystal Palace USA squad have recently finished their inaugural season
which saw them just miss out on the play-offs in the USL Division Two and
after their season ends they will be in Britain for the first time ever.

And Eagles fans have the opportunity to watch the Palace USA squad in their
first appearance here when Selhurst Park hosts a showcase match on Friday
7th September 2007 (kick-off 8.00pm).

It promises to be a really memorable occasion, with a traditional American
feel to it with the national anthems of both countries played prior to the
game and a trophy will be presented to the winner as the Amerian and English
honours are once again up for grabs.

It is going to be a historic occasion with all proceeds going to the Crystal
Palace FC Academy, so make sure you're here to see it.
