Carter is in his first year on staff with Crystal Palace USA.  He is in the process of earning his Masters in Sport Management from Old Dominion Univeristy. 

Last year, while taking graduate classes, Carter was the assistant coach for the ODU womens soccer team.  In his one season as the assistant, ODU compiled a program best 17-5-1 record, winning their first ever CAA championship and earning their first ever birth into the NCAA tournament. 

Carter recieved his Undergraduate Degree in Sport Management from the University of Tennessee, where he was a four year starter in goal for the nationally ranked UT club team.  Since his sophomore year in college, Carter has worked wih goalkeepers from several college programs, including Carson Newman College, The University of Tennessee, and The University of Richmond. 

He has also served as the Director of Goalkeeping for FC Richmond, Norfolk United, and the Diadora Impact.  He grew up in Richmond, VA, where he was an all-district GK at Patrick Henry High School.  He has earned a Level III Goalkeeping Diploma from the NSCAA, and has also earned a USSF National "D" License.
